Tripoli

The Port of Tripoli is the primary ocean port in Tripoli, the capital of Libya, and one of the most seasoned ports in the Mediterranean.

The port serves general freight, mass payload & travelers. The Port of Tripoli holds numerous freight terminals, and is equipped for overhauling numerous boats on the double.

The port additionally emphasizes a yacht club, and angling wharf.

Misrata

Established in 1978 with total area of 300 ha and in 2006 it belonged to Misurata Free Zone (MFZ), it is considered as one of the most important ports in Libya due to location and well equipped port.

The port is connected directly to the main high way by the heavy transportation road without crossing the city center.

Port is under developing and modernizing with target to add more berths with total length of 2,250 m with draft of 18 m to receive 4 million containers per year.

Port of Misurata has capacity of 6,000,000 tons per annum. Max Depth is 11 m and total length of berths is 3,550 m long

Ben-Ghazi

A natural seaport, it was founded as Euesperides by the ancient Greeks of Cyrenaica in the 6th Century BC.

Today the Port of Benghazi is run and owned by the state-owned Socialist Ports Company. It has been developed as a modern port with associated and linked manufacturing and industrial facilities.

The port facility itself serves general, bulk cargoes and containers, handled through eight transit sheds covering 17,500 square metres (188,000 sq ft).

Ras Lanouf

Ras Lanuf oil terminal is located in the Gulf of Sidrah (the Sirte Gulf). The offshore oil export terminal, consisting of 2 conventional buoy berths and 2 SPM's , receives approximatelyimately 300 vessels a year.

Briega

Brega, Elbrega or Elbriga is located in the Gulf of Sidrah (the Sirte Gulf), about 270km west of Benghazi city. The name is usually written as " Marsa Elbrega Port" , which translates to "Port Elbrega Port " . The port is used for loading general cargo and oil and petrochemical products.

Darneh

Darna is located in the eastern coast of Libya, between Benghazi and Tobruk. It is a small port, visited by about 80 ships a year. Entry is allowed during daylight only. Operator: Socialist Company For Ports.

Toubreq

Zawarah

Location: 32:55 N 12:07 East Port's total area of 900,000 square meters The port has a beacon height of 50 feet and a range of 12 nautical miles Indoor storage space = No An area of open storage = 10,000,000 square meters Annual capacity = 120,000 tonnes rosy one can be raised to 216,000 tons for running two shifts
